Popular DJ incubator & cocktail lounge of the dot.com-boom-era formerly known as the Blind Tiger was transformed in May 2005 into what is now known as SIP BAR & LOUNGE. The beautifully redesigned bar features a spacious main floor with soaring ceilings, dropped halogen spot lighting, which has been painted in soft caramel & chocolate hues, and appointed with cushy, low tobacco-leather-upholstered benches & comfortable velvet-covered duck-down-feather pillows opposite a 25-foot, gently-illuminated mirrored bar. The mezzanine level hides an intimately-lit, chocolate-velvet lined VIP lounge with six leather sofas, faux fireplace & black and white portraits of legendary musicians enjoying themselves. SIP specializes in espresso-liqueur-based cokckails & also features a wide array of vodkas. It's overall concept is simplicity, where the venue is the canvas & the guests are the focal point. The bar does not charge a cover* with exception to fundraiser events hosted by third-party promoters
